Bijou Phillips needs another miracle … because she desperately needs a second kidney transplant … and she’s currently in the hospital.

A rep for Bijou tells TMZ … she’s is currently under care at UCLA Health, where she’s back on dialysis as she waits to find a living donor.

Her rep tells us Bijou suffered many complications since the first transplant, including the BK virus … which led to both cellular and antibody rejection.
Bijou Phillips is in desperate need of a kidney transplant.

The model, 45, is currently hospitalized at CORE Kidney at UCLA Health, where she is receiving dialysis while waiting for a donor, her rep Cade Hudson confirmed to Page Six on Wednesday.

Following her first transplant, Phillips has been suffering from multiple complications, including a bout with the human polyomavirus 1, also known as the BK virus, which led to cellular and antibody rejection.

She is currently in stable condition, but her rep pleaded that “time is of the essence” as they search for donors.

The socialite has had a long-term battle with kidney disease after being born with underdeveloped kidneys. She spent the first three months of her life in the NICU on dialysis.

Phillips got an initial transplant in 2017 after she was rushed to the hospital with a fever in February. At the time, doctors diagnosed her with a blood infection.

TMZ reported that she was rushed to a Santa Barbara, Calif., hospital with her now-ex-husband, Danny Masterson, at her side.

It was revealed by her rep that she had been on the transplant list since 2012 and had adopted a vegan diet to better her symptoms.

“Eventually [it] wasn’t enough and she’s been privately having dialysis,” he said before noting that she had just found out her “friend” was a match.

Ahead of her surgery in April 2017, the actress shared a lengthy Instagram message where she thanked her donor for a second chance at life.

“I have been waiting for this day to come for a long time,” she wrote, per People.

“Dialysis has been a blessing, and also extremely hard, I got an infection and am on my second catheter. This is major surgery, FSGS is scary, but I’m soooo intensely Grateful for my husband, my daughter, our Family!”

Once Phillips was out of surgery, the “That’s 70’s Show” actor revealed it was “100% successful,” People reported.

“My lady has been slowing [sic] dying for the past 7 years of an incurable kidney disease. She was given the gift of an encore by a tall angel. Our daughter will have a mother. We do not take lightly how incredibly fortunate we are. 100% successful transplant,” he wrote in an Instagram post, featuring a photo of Phillips holding hands with her unidentified donor.

“Now the real work begins for her to silence any chance of rejection. Our deepest gratitude to a perfect transplant team. And a life owed to a tall drink of water. Sláinte!”

Since then, Phillips and Masterson have gone their separate ways after he was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison for rape in September 2023.

The “Almost Famous” star filed to end their marriage just days after he learned his fate, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

At the time, she sought spousal support and requested that any financial support for Masterson be denied, per the docs obtained by PageSix.

The two were married for nearly 12 years and share daughter Fianna Francis, who is now 11.
